ROBOCOP First Official Trailer (video)

 #robocop #movietrailer #rockfile
I am a huge fan of the original movie but not the sequels or TV shows/series. Although the first movie is showing it's age, it is still a gritty commentary/satire on corporate America. Hopefully, José Padilha's version of the story will be entertaining. Remakes are never as good but the cast is great and the trailer is not too shabby!

MIRROR'S EDGE in Real Life (video)

 #mirrorsedge #parkour #rockfile
To be honest, I only played the demo of the first Mirror's Edge. News of a sequel did not even register on my radar until this fan film was released as a tribute to the original game.

And here is the trailer for the upcoming Mirror's Edge 2:

Have you played the first one? Going to get the second one? Parkour anyone?

TONY JAA's THE PROTECTOR 2 is coming! (video)

#tonyjaa #rockfile #martialarts
For those outside of "martial arts cinema", Tony Jaa will be making his US film debut in Fast and the Furious 7 (or whatever the title really is). Fans of martial arts flicks have known about Tony for years. His nearly superhuman feats are the real deal and you can forgive some of the less than stellar moments in his Thai films because the action scenes are so amazing.

The Protector (Tom-Yung-Goong, original title) was his second movie after Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior, which is the better of the two.  Looks like they are taking the sequel to new levels, check out this trailer:

POMPEII Trailer Uses STEVEN WILSON Music (video)

#stevenwilson #rockfile #pompeiimovie
I know Steven Wilson is a huge movie buff but I doubt if he had anything to do with his song being used in the trailer for the upcoming Paul W.S. Anderson epic. (Anderson has directed some of my guilty pleasures like Event Horizon, Soldier, Aliens Vs Predator, Death Race, Mortal Kombat and most of the Resident Evil movies.)
If you haven't already picked up the Porcupine Tree front-man's latest, The Raven That Refuse To Sing (And Other Stories), you should, it's one of the best albums of the year! The song fits this trailer perfectly!

Release Date: February 21, 2014
Genre: Action, Adventure
Director: Paul W.S. Anderson
Writer: Lee Batchler, Janet Scott Batchler, Michael Robert Johnson, Julian Fellowes
Starring: Kit Harington, Emily Browning, Carrie-Anne Moss
